Enable and disable collection of mobile phone numbers in Rackspace Webmail

You can enable or disable mobile phone collection in Webmail for a private label site.

Mobile phone numbers that are collected are for use only with account security features such as forgotten password recovery and two-factor authentication. These numbers cannot be disclosed to third parties, including reseller administrators.

For direct customers

  1. Log in to https://cp.rackspace.com.
  2. Click Rackspace Email.
  3. Click Webmail Sites.
  4. Click Show/Hide Links.
  5. Select Show Prompt for Mobile Phone Number (to enable collection) or Hide Do not prompt for Mobile Phone Number (to disable collection).
  6. Click Save.

For resellers

  1. Log in to https://cp.rackspace.com.
  2. Click Reseller Tools.
  3. Click Webmail Sites.
  4. Choose a Webmail site and click Customize.
  5. Click Show/Hide Links.
  6. Select Show Prompt for Mobile Phone Number (to enable collection) or Hide Do not prompt for Mobile Phone Number (to disable collection).
  7. Click Save.
