Import or export contacts in Rackspace Email

This article describes how to import contacts to your Rackspace Email account from your previous mail provider and export contacts from Rackspace Email before upgrading to Microsoft Exchange or Office 365.

Prerequisites

  • Applies to: User

  • Tools required: Rackspace Email access

Import contacts to Rackspace Email

  1. Log in to your Rackspace Email mailbox at apps.rackspace.com
  2. Click the Contacts tab.
  3. Click Import/Export Contacts.

  4. Under Import Contacts, click Choose File.

  5. Save the .csv file that contains the contacts that you want to import.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Verify the information for each imported contact. Click Next and Previous to scroll through the contact list.
  8. After you verify that all contacts are correct, click OK to complete the import.

Export contacts from your Rackspace Email account

  1. Log in to your Rackspace Email mailbox at apps.rackspace.com.
  2. Click the Contacts tab.
  3. Click My Contacts.
  4. Click Import/Export Contacts.

  5. Under Export Contacts, select your mail client.
  6. Click Export.

    A .csv file of your contacts is downloaded through your web browser.
